Definitions of Key Words


Copyright- Refers to the right of copying something. This is usually placed in audios, videos, typed papers and others to secure and prevent other people from copying their work.


Copyfree- Is a policy, idea or standard which determines the freedom you have to change, edit or copy work you possess and others possess.


Creative commons- Is a non-profit organisation which seeks to make communicating and sharing with others much more public, whilst keeping people’s work secure.


Public domain – Refers to a work that is nor protected by copyright


Trademark- It’s a sign, design or logo which helps identify different products or objects. It differenciates some products from others.
